We are no longer issuing course certificates for San Joaquin County.
**Classroom portion occurs Thursday at 5:30pm and range portion is on the following Saturday for a full day from 8am-5pm and half day Sunday 8am-12pm.
Tuition is $285 and must be paid in full prior to attending class. This is a 16 hour course from 5:30pm to 9:30pm on Thursday and qualification at the range will be scheduled for the following Saturday (Full day, 8am-5pm) & Sunday (Half day, 8am-12pm). Certificates will be issued after successful qualification on Sunday.

- Handgun (additional magazines and loaders suggested)
- Outside the pant hip holster
(Please wear pants with belt loops and a sturdy belt)

- 250 rounds of ammunition for initial course
- Long pants and close toed footwear are required.

A 3 HOUR introduction to the use and operation of your semi-automatic pistol or revolver. We will discuss safety, proper grip, loading and unloading, and basic principles of shooting. Shooting for accuracy, control shooting, reloading, and beginning movement will be covered.
This course is designed for any handgun, .22 and up.
**Great for beginners, or those wanting to become more comfortable with their handgun
Tuition is $80 and must be paid prior to attending class. This is a 3 hour course on Saturday from 8am to 1100pm.

The next in our phase of Fred’s Firearms handgun training will introduce proper manipulation of your weapon including all stages of malfunctions. Shooters will utilize their hip holster and work with proper presentation skills while engaging either single or multiple targets.
Students are required to have completed either Handgun 1, have their CCW, or have taken a certified handgun course within the past 5 years.
Tuition is $60 and must be paid prior to attending class. This is a 2-hour course on Saturday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

This exciting, action-packed class will cover 3 different firearms in one afternoon, Shotgun, Pistol, and your Carbine rifle. During this course you will shoot and work through courses of fire requiring you to shoot either one, two, or all three of your weapons through safe and exciting transitions.
Students should be familiar with your weapons and have good gun-handling skills.
