Course Overview
Handgun 3 introduces controlled movement into live-fire training. Students will learn to move safely and effectively forward, rearward, and laterally while engaging targets.
The course also covers shooting from multiple positions, including kneeling and prone. Instruction applies to both semi-automatic pistols and revolvers.
Skill Level
This course is intended for intermediate-level students with a solid understanding of the four universal firearm safety rules.
Prerequisites
Students must have completed Handgun 2, possess a valid CCW, or have completed a certified handgun course within the past five (5) years.
Schedule & Tuition
Tuition is $130 and must be paid prior to attending the class.
This is a 2-hour course held on Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Required Equipment
- Handgun (three magazines or speed loaders recommended; two required minimum)
- Outside-the-waistband hard holster
- Eye and ear protection
- 175 rounds of ammunition
- Long pants and closed-toe footwear (required)
